We are seeking a Material Control Specialist Energy to join our team in Richland, WA. AtkinsRalis is a world-class engineering services and nuclear organization. For over 50 years, we've partnered with public and private clients across the U.S. to deliver infrastructure planning, engineering, construction, environmental consulting, urban planning, architecture, and program management.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Procurement Lead in the day-to-day implementation of the LAWMAST Procurement Policy and daily accounting of items received from the Procurement process.
  • Act as a Quartermaster System, tracking project items from issuance to use to final disposition.
  • Expediting tasks, including tracking delivery status, compiling reports, and processing materials.
  • Coordinate internally with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Operations, and other departments regarding lead times of items received.
  • Contact vendors, contractors, and/or subcontractors to coordinate and expedite the timely receipt of equipment, materials, or related engineering data to meet schedule requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage resources to complete work.
  • Advise project personnel regarding completion, transit, and delivery dates or possible delays.
  • Monitor and track supplier deliverables.
  • Assist with purchasing tasks for low-dollar value items, including processing purchase requests, placing orders, and credit card reconciliation.
  • Support facility operations and maintenance activities.
  • Label system components according to procedure guidelines.
  • Operate manlifts, forklifts, and company motor vehicles in accordance with established policy guidelines.
  • Support the execution of the Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) guiding principles and core functions and the Atkins Safety Culture.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with work control documents, lockout/tagouts, and job hazard analysis.
  • Minimum 1 year of purchasing, material control, logistics, or expediting experience.
  • Familiarity with federal procurement or DOE property regulations.
  • Must be able to obtain forklift qualification within 60 days of hire.
  • Government property management training.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen to be considered.
