Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Material Control Processor (Shipping/Receiving) for a 2nd shift at Plant 3 in Whitehall, MI. The role involves preparing shipping/receiving documentation, receiving materials, and entering orders on-site, with exposure to export control procedures.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of post-high school work experience. Strong MS Office skills and good written and verbal communication are preferred; visa sponsorship is not

Responsibilities

This 2nd shift Material Control Processor (Shipping/Receiving) position is located in Plant 3, Whitehall Casting and will be responsible for: - Preparing shipping/receiving documentation for incoming and outgoing materials - Receipt of materials - Order entry - Prepare export control documentation - Maintain and prepare hazard waste manifest log.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years’ continuous work experience post high school
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a shipping/receiving department in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must be flexible in a changing work environment and able to reorganize rapidly to changing priorities.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
