Material Control Coordinator - "W-TRS" Ft. Irwin, California N.T.C.

Job Description

  1. Oversees the receipt of materials, verifies quantities, and enters data into inventory management systems.
  2. Allocates and organizes storage space efficiently to maximize warehouse use.
  3. Determines appropriate locations for materials based on size, usage frequency, and compatibility.
  4. Ensures storage facilities comply with safety regulations and specific storage requirements, including hazardous materials.
  5. Maintains a clean and safe environment, storing materials to prevent damage or deterioration.
  6. Picks materials/kits from storage to fulfill orders.
  7. Packages materials/kits for shipment or transfer, ensuring protection during transit.
  8. Labels packages accurately with product identification, quantities, batch numbers, and safety warnings.
  9. Responsible for physical inventory reconciliation.

Education/Experience:

  • (2+BA/BS), (1+MA/MS), (4+AA), or (6+No Degree)

Certifications: None

Required Experience:

  • Receiving materials, verifying quantities, and data entry into inventory systems.
  • Efficiently organizing storage space.
  • Determining appropriate storage locations based on various factors.
  • Ensuring safety and storage compliance, including hazardous materials.
  • Maintaining a safe and damage-free storage environment.
