Job summary

Jobtailor in Atlanta, GA seeks a procurement professional to manage material purchases, maintain supplier relations, and ensure on-time invoicing. You will create and manage POs, track shipments, and maintain data accuracy while negotiating with vendors.

The role requires 2 years of direct purchasing experience, Bachelor degree, and strong English skills; travel up to 25% is expected. This position is on-site at our Atlanta facility.

Responsibilities

• Maintain procurement of materials according to requisitions created by the planner.
• Be the main point of contact between suppliers and operations.
• Create and acknowledge PO's.
• Manage information accuracy of all purchase orders.
• Inform about supplier miss delivery and performance issues.
• Follow supplier shipments till material is delivered to the Facility dock.
• Ensure on-time invoice payments.
• Analyze 3 month materials needs and identify supply risk.
• Follow up open POs according to need dates or supplier promise date.
• Convert material requisitions into Purchase Orders.
• Track and fix receiving material holds and invoices holds.
• Communicate parameter update needs to Sourcing.

• Ensure invoice payment is on time
• Analyze 3 month materials needs and identify supply risk
• Follow up open POs according to need dates or supplier promise date
• Responsible to convert to Purchase Orders the material requisitions created or released by the planner
• Track and fix receiving material hold (Quarantine) and invoices hold (AMP Market Place)
• Communicate parameters update needs to Sourcing
