Job summary

RTX / Collins Aerospace in Miramar, FL seeks an Onsite Warehouse/Inventory Associate. You will receive, store, issue, and ship materials while maintaining accurate inventory records. You will organize stock locations, perform cycle counts, and handle packaging and tooling purchases to support production.

The role emphasizes computer-based inventory management, adherence to quality standards, and collaboration with customer teams. Regular daytime hours and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent) with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
• Regular shift 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday.

What You Will Do

• Receives, checks, stores, issues and ships a variety of items and maintains inventory control.
• Inventory Management: Organize, stage, and bin materials in their designated warehouse locations; participate in routine cycle counts.
• Uses assistance and/or powered mechanical means (not to include forklifts or high bay vehicles) to load, unload, store and deliver a variety of incoming and outgoing material.
• Prepares and packages small and large parts using proper procedures and materials.
• Processes purchase orders for spare tooling and materials.
• Proficiently uses computer hardware/software.
• Oversees parts preparation, material handling, measuring and packaging equipment, records calibration logs of tools and equipment.
• Performs operator preventative maintenance tasks and refers major breakdowns to machine maintenance.
• Oversees inventory and maintains all government tooling property according to military regulations.
• M sustains contact with personnel from various customers and supports areas to ensure accuracy of material/process.
• Uses assorted measuring and weight recording devices.
• Keeps equipment and surrounding areas neat and clean.
• Performs related duties as required within the scope of this job function.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to work during a regular work shift (7:00am - 3:30pm), Monday - Friday.

Qualifications We Prefer

• SAP experience.
• Stockroom and warehousing experience.
• Experience with inventory receiving, packaging and shipment of finished goods.
• Flexibility to work outside of the regular work shift and some weekends, as needed.
