Job summary

Harry and David, LLC is seeking a Material Handler to support production and packing on demand lines, assembling trays, lids, and preparing orders for expedited processing. You will work on the floor to ensure timely fulfillment while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities include pallet building, SKU reading, and collaboration with multiple departments. A focus on reliability and adherence to SQF guidelines is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Some high school education required.
• Ability to communicate with employees at all levels (peers, leadership & employees).
• Basic reading (English) skills.

Responsibilities

• Build pallets according to storage specifications ensuring pallet pattern meets all requirements.
• Ensure quality assurance and vendor compliance specifications are met.
• Physically stack and unstack pallets
• Support the shipping line with a constant flow of product or removal
• Read SKU numbers and sort product by size/SKU of box to prepare it for loading
• Perform other duties and works in other departments as assigned
• Adhere to all SQF (Safe Quality Foods) guidelines
• Maintain reasonable and reliable attendance
