As part of KYO's launch, we’re looking for passionate Matcha Baristas and Senior Matcha Baristas to join our founding team. You’ll play a key role in crafting our tea offerings and shaping the calm, welcoming experience we hope every guest finds at KYO.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Brew each drink with intention and consistency, balancing precision with pride in the craft
- Work efficiently in a busy tea bar without compromising on quality
- Stay focused and steady during peak periods, delivering calm, consistent service
- Engage warmly with customers, offering thoughtful recommendations and a memorable tea experience
- Be a tea ambassador—share product knowledge and introduce guests to the joy of tea
- Take pride in maintaining a clean, well-organised tea space—every detail reflects our brand
- Collaborate with teammates and support smooth day-to-day operations, even during high volume
- Monitor inventory and restock mindfully to keep every cup fresh and consistent
- Handle equipment with care—from chasen whisks to blenders, everything has its place
- Show up dependable, positive, and ready to bring good energy into the space

What We’re Looking For
- Individuals who are passionate, reliable, and self-motivated—proactive team players who take initiative with care and pride in what they do.
- 5 & 6-day work week, including weekends and public holidays
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in F&B or café operations (tea or matcha experience is a bonus)
- Confident in preparing tea-based drinks with consistency and attention to detail
- Calm, focused, and able to stay composed under pressure
- Able to handle a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks without losing focus
- Works closely with the team to keep operations running smoothly, especially during busy periods
- Good communication skills with both customers and teammates
- Strong sense of hygiene, cleanliness, and workspace organisation
- Genuinely care about service, tea, and creating a good experience for others
- A dependable team player who brings good energy and shows up ready to work
