The American Lung Association seeks a Specialist, Health Promotions to coordinate and evaluate lung health programs in the Mat-Su region. The role focuses on tobacco prevention, education, and building partnerships with funders and community groups.

You will support grant reporting, research best practices, and coordinate coalitions to promote lung health and reduce tobacco-related disparities. This is a 100% grant-funded, home-based position in Alaska.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in community health education or related areas.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and evaluate lung health programs in Mat-Su region.
• Build relationships with funders and community partners to support program delivery.
• Support annual reports, grants reports, and invoices.
• Research best practices for tobacco prevention and control programs.
• Coordinate the Breathe Free Mat-Su Coalition and facilitate meetings.
