Qualifications

• Must have CPR, First Aid and AED certifications.
• National certification in group fitness (ACE, NETA, AFAA, NASM) or YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise.
• Pilates instructor certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead energizing, safe Mat Pilates classes for beginners and experienced participants.
• Support members in achieving healthy living goals and building self-esteem.
• Maintain equipment and oversee class setup, attendance records, and safety procedures.
• Answer member questions and provide guidance on exercise safety and wellness trends.
• Document incidents and emergencies as needed and follow YMCA policies.
