Job summary

Equinox in Seattle is seeking part-time Mat Pilates and Barre Instructors to deliver the Equinox Experience in premium classes. You will modify intensity, monitor effort, and ensure timely starts and finishes while teaching regularly and coordinating with the Group Fitness Manager on feedback and scheduling.

The role requires Pilates Mat/Barre certification, teaching experience, CPR/AED, and knowledge of anatomy and modifications.

Qualifications

• Pilates Mat/Barre certification is required.
• Teaching experience is required.
• CPR/AED certification is required.
• Knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology and exercise modifications.
• Willingness to learn and continue professional development.
• Friendly, vibrant and outgoing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Equinox Experience in each class.
• Adhere to class descriptions and adjust intensity as needed.
• Monitor exercise intensity throughout sessions.
• Ensure classes start and end on time.
• Teach classes regularly and minimize subbing.
• Coordinate with Group Fitness Manager on feedback and schedules.
