Job summary

Jamestown Healing Clinic in Sequim, WA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our integrated care team. This Dispensing Nurse II-RN administers medications, maintains accurate records, and supports patients through treatment and recovery, working with primary care, dental, behavioral health, and addiction medicine professionals.

The role requires an active WA RN license, at least three years in a clinic setting, and strong knowledge of EHRs.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the State of Washington.
• Minimum three years of experience in a clinic setting.
• Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHRs).
• Knowledge of primary care, mental health, and addiction medicine.
• Knowledge of substance use disorders and their effects on individuals, families, and communities.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment and understand the impact of trauma on recovery.
• Understanding of confidentiality regulations including 42 CFR Part 2, RCW, and WAC.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate dispensing records.
• Maintain medication inventory and safeguard stock per DEA and State Board requirements.
• Conduct patient assessments, nursing care, and education.
• Record prescriptions and medications in the electronic health record system.
• Document encounters and incidents accurately and timely.
• Educate patients on dispensed medications and related effects.
• Adhere to HIPAA, safety standards, and clinic policies.
