Job summary

Cintas is hiring a Mat Builder in Suwanee, GA to assemble industrial mats from carpet and rubber materials. You will monitor mold placement, prepare molds, and apply rubber edge strips and RFID labels to meet customer specifications. This 2nd shift role requires good dexterity and the ability to work on a fast-paced line.

Responsibilities

• Lay base sheets of rubber, place carpet, and add edge strips and labels on molds.
• Prepare molds for the next run.
• Record transactions from POET for scheduled orders and report system issues.
• Keep work area clean and organized.

Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Mat Builder. The Mat Builder will be using carpet and rubber materials to assemble a variety of industrial mats. Monitoring placement of rubber base sheets and cut carpet onto molds, and building mat prior to entering press for curing. Mats are built by manufacturing standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Inspect rubber and carpet placement on the mold and make sure no delays on the line.
• Communicate to the CEO any issues related to the building process and make adjustments to ensure the product meets the spec.
• When automation is not used on the line, lay base sheets of rubber onto molds, lay carpet on base sheets and apply rubber edge strips to carpet and base sheet. Add top and back customer labels, RFID chips.
• Prepare molds for the next run.
• Complete transactions from POET screen for orders on the schedule and ensure CEO is inform for all system issues when present.
• Keep area neat and clean.
