Job summary

DigiPen Institute of Technology is seeking a Teaching Assistant for MAT-150 (Davis), with a 4-hour weekly commitment. The TA assists the instructor in classrooms, labs, grading, and attendance tasks, and may meet with students outside class as needed. Applicants must be current DigiPen students residing in Washington state.

Wage range is $17.13 to $18.25 per hour, with work dates August 31 to December 16, 2026. Equal opportunity is emphasized in the hiring process.

• Be comfortable interacting with other students on an instructional level as a mentor.
• Arrive on time and be prepared to attend with complete focus during work hours.
• Successfully completed MAT-150.
• Strong communicator.
• Reliable, punctual, and invested in the success of their fellow students.
• Be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Grading student work and/or exams.
• Assisting students in labs and during published office hours.
• Meeting students online, if required.
• Uploading grades onto Moodle.
• Helping with activities/exams/projects, etc.
• Timely delivery of graded reports/assignments and maintaining consistency and clarity in grading.
• Accountable for tracking and reporting the amount of time worked.
