Job summary

MasteryPrep is seeking an on-site instructional specialist to deliver live instruction to middle and high school students across multiple campuses in Minneapolis. You will engage learners with an energetic, clear teaching style and foster a positive, supportive learning environment to drive growth in math and reading skills.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or higher, strong communication skills, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel locally for weekday in-person events.

Department: Instructional Operations

Location: Minneapolis

Compensation: $40.00 - $45.00 / hour

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver live instruction to middle and high school students at multiple campuses
• Engage students using an energetic, clear, and encouraging teaching style
• Create a positive, supportive learning environment
• Support student growth in math and reading skills
• Maintain reliable attendance and professionalism during scheduled sessions
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and school partners as needed

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Teaching experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Engaging presentation style and positive attitude
• Ability to work onsite and maintain reliable attendance
• Willingness to travel locally/regionally for weekday in-person events
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Skills

• Tutoring experience
• Advanced proficiency in secondary mathematics concepts
