Job summary

Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, WA is seeking a Masters-Level Therapist (Associate or Licensed) to join its emergency psychiatric triage team, serving both pediatric and adult patients.

The role includes assessment, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and ongoing behavioral health support, working with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary care team within a Level II Trauma Center environment. A $3,000 hiring bonus is available for eligible external candidates.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling or related field required.
• WA Mental Health Counselor Associate or WA Marriage and Family Therapist Associate license required.
• At least 6 months working in crisis services.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, crisis intervention, and treatment planning for patients.
• Deliver ongoing behavioral health support to pediatric and adult patients.
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary care teams.

Join Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children’s Hospital, a major regional medical center serving patients throughout the Inland Northwest. Required qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Psychology, counseling, sociology or another social science equivalent, marriage and family counseling.
• Upon hire: Washington Mental Health Counselor Associate License. Or
• Upon hire: Washington Marriage and Family Therapist Associate License
• 6 months Working in crisis services.

Preferred qualifications:

• 1 year hospital or emergency department experience.
