Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital is seeking an Associate Mental Health Counselor to work under supervision, collaborating with patients and support systems to assess and diagnose. The role requires a Master's in a social science field and licensure in Washington state.

Description

The Associate Mental Health Counselor Masters will be supervised by a licensed therapist. They will collaborate with patient/support system to evaluate, diagnose patients to conduct crisis risk assessments using established approaches and standards.

Required qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Psychology, counseling, sociology or another social science equivalent, marriage and family counseling.

• Upon hire: Washington Mental Health Counselor Associate License. Or

• Upon hire: Washington Marriage and Family Therapist Associate License

• 6 months Working in crisis services.

Preferred qualifications:

• 1 year Psychiatric experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
