Job Summary and Qualifications

The Mental Health Professional II provides supervised mental health services, including assessments, psycho-education, group facilitation, treatment planning, and therapy using evidence-based methods in individual, family, and group settings.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting psychoeducational and process groups.
  • Developing and reviewing treatment plans.
  • Assessing patient safety and reporting issues.
  • Identifying risk factors and screening criteria for patients with precautions.
  • Completing assessments and documentation promptly and accurately.
  • Collaborating on discharge planning and conducting follow-up as needed.

Qualifications required:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS), obtained within 30 days of hire.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training, obtained within 90 days of hire.
  • Master's Degree in a relevant field.

No travel is required for this role.
