Job summary

AMD is seeking an energized graduate student for a Spring/Summer co‑op or internship in Santa Clara/San Jose. You will analyze and organize raw data to craft proofs of concepts, prototype, and implement solutions, with data visualization and reporting duties.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in data analytics, data engineering, and prescriptive/predictive modeling, collaborating with experts and contributing to real-world projects impacting millions of end users.

Qualifications

• You are currently enrolled in a United States based University into a Master’s program majoring in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong familiarity with Python, SQL and data visualization tools is expected.
• Knowledge of cloud services (Azure) and data platforms (Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and organize raw data to craft proofs of concepts, prototypes, and implement solutions using relevant analysis methods and visualization techniques.
• Assist with data analysis assignments and report results; participate in prescriptive and predictive modeling to generate business foresights.
• Build reports, presentations, and dashboards using data visualization tools.
