Job summary

AMD is seeking an enrolled Master’s student for a Spring/Summer Co-op/Internship in data analytics across locations such as Boxborough, MA and Austin, TX. You’ll analyze data, build proofs of concept, prototype solutions, and gain real-world experience that impacts millions of end users.

Candidates should be pursuing a US-based Master’s in related fields and have knowledge of Python/SQL/R/Java, data processing, and visualization tools. The role is onsite/hybrid and not open to visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a US-based university Master’s program in data analytics, data engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or related field.
• Knowledge of Python, SQL, R, or Java and enthusiasm for data analytics roles.
• Experience or exposure to data processing, data engineering or data science.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and organize raw data to craft proofs of concepts, prototype, and implement solutions using relevant analysis methods and visualization techniques.
• Be involved in data analysis assignments and report results; training to build data for prescriptive and predictive modeling to generate business foresights.
• Build reports, presentations and dashboards using data visualization tools.
