We seek a motivated Master's student to contribute to an innovative aircraft manufacturing automation project. The focus is on developing and improving a Virtual Commissioning (VC) simulation system to test complex automation setups for drilling, countersinking, and riveting aircraft components. The aim is to enhance validation and testing processes, ensuring system functionality and performance before deployment.

Develop and implement a framework for scenario analysis and performance optimization.
Identify failure scenarios, evaluate corrective actions using VC simulation, and ensure optimal performance.
Compare the behavior of nominal and corrective systems to find potential solutions.
Suggest optimizations or alternative strategies to recover from failures and meet production requirements.
Enrolled in a Master’s program in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
Strong knowledge in automation, robotics, and simulation systems.
Experience with hardware/software integration and simulation tools.
Understanding of control systems and communication protocols.
Familiarity with simulation (e.g., CATIA V5, SIMIT) and virtualization tools (e.g., Docker, WSL2), plus programming skills are desirable.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
