Job summary

Diagnostic Network, Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a Professional Technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience handling foreign and domestic cars and light to heavy-duty trucks (gas and diesel). ASE/ERT is a plus but not required.

The ideal candidate is hardworking, with a strong work ethic and pride in their workmanship. You will work from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with no weekends. We offer a $3,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants and invite you to send your resume and

Qualifications

• Min 5 years experience with foreign and domestic cars, light and medium duty trucks (gas and diesel).
• ASE and ERT certification a plus but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments and basic maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, and transmission issues.

I agree with you JC, No one wants to work in these days and I have been looking for a mechanic or a tech for past year and I offered a $1200 week salary and weekend off. I don't know what in the world is going on.

I am not familiar with NJ economy but the first thing that came to my mind is…Could a guy buy a house and support a family within half an hour's drive from the shop at that wage?
