AutoNation Porsche Fremont is seeking a Master Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance in a busy, temperature-controlled shop, with OEM training and a clear path to advancement.

You will work with tenured technicians and advisors, earn paid training, bonuses, generous PTO, and benefits, and contribute to delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining dealership and factory standards across a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience as a Manufacture Certified automotive technician.
• Automotive technical training (varies based on store needs).
• Attention to detail.
• Organization and follow-up skills.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performing vehicle repair and maintenance per the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, following dealership and factory standards to drive customer loyalty.
• Communicating with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of malfunctions and performing repairs if authorized by the customer.
• Conducting multi-point inspections and making appropriate recommendations for safety and reliability.
• Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Maintaining an inventory of regular tools and special tools as needed by service.
• Keeping up with factory technical bulletins and attending training classes.
• Providing an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
