Woodie’s Auto Service is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic to diagnose and repair diverse vehicle systems in a busy Charlotte area shop. Join a well-established, locally owned company that invests in growth, provides ongoing training, and supports career advancement.

You will diagnose and repair brakes, exhaust, fuel and ignition, electrical and HVAC systems while communicating clearly with customers and service advisors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience.
• ASE Certification and NC Inspection License preferred but not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical expertise.
• High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Diagnose & repair a variety of vehicle systems, including brakes & hydraulics, exhaust systems, fuel & ignition systems, electrical & computer diagnostics, suspension & alignment, air conditioning & HVAC.
• Clearly explain repairs to service advisors & customers.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship & a customer-first mindset.
