Job summary

Suitsupply is seeking a dedicated Tailor to deliver expert alterations and exceptional in-store experiences. You will work with store management and sales teams to ensure every garment fits perfectly, from sleeves to trouser lengths, while maintaining a clean, efficient tailor shop.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with garment alterations, preferably men’s tailoring or formalwear.
• Proficient in sewing techniques and basic tailoring equipment.
• Strong understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and color perception.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills; able to manage multiple alterations.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills; professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert alterations on suits, shirts, coats, blazers, and trousers, including sleeve adjustments and trouser alterations.
• Mark garments accurately and ensure alterations meet high standards for fit and finish.
• Collaborate with sales associates for proper sizing and recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized tailor shop and ensure equipment works well.
• Provide high-level customer service with timely, precise alterations.
