Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Master Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care, and recommend products and services. The role emphasizes guest service, performance, and a total-store experience in a fast-paced salon environment.

You will work with the Experience Manager and ASM to achieve service sales and productivity goals, while maintaining high standards and staying current with beauty trends and ingredients.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required; cosmetology skills across hair design, color, styling and extensions.
• Strong guest service orientation with ability to educate guests on products and services.
• Effective communication and teamwork to deliver a total-store guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services including design, cuts, color, texture, styling, updos, keratin, extensions, makeup and ear piercing where applicable.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and productivity targets for hair services and contribute to retail and service sales.
• Demonstrate products through demonstrations and drive guest service experiences.
• Support events, promotions and marketing initiatives to deliver an unrivaled guest experience.
• Stay informed on trends and product knowledge to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt attendance and salon cleanliness and safety standards.
