Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Master Stylist to engage guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend services and products. You will deliver high-quality hair services with a focus on guest total look, supporting the Experience Manager and ASM through performance, people, and process goals.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Previous relevant work experience is required.
• Proficiency with hair services including haircutting, color, styling, and extensions.
• Ability to demonstrate and sell professional hair care and makeup products.
• Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services (hair design, cuts, color, texture, styling, updos, extensions, makeup) and related services.
• Meet or exceed sales and productivity goals for hair services and retail products.
• Demonstrate products and participate in in-store events to enhance guest experience.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures and comply with state guidelines.
• Maintain salon and store cleanliness and adhere to dress code.
• Build guest relationships and coordinate with skin therapists and retail team for a total-store experience.
