General Summary & Scope

The Master Stylist engages with guests, consults on hair care needs, and recommends products and services. They deliver quality professional services focusing on the guest’s total look, supporting the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager through performance, people, and process.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform hair services such as design, cuts, color, treatments, styling, updos, perms, blowouts, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup, and ear piercing (if applicable).
• Meet or exceed weekly sales goals of $1250 and support store goals related to retail, service sales, guest loyalty, and shrink reduction.
• Demonstrate products to drive sales and enhance guest experience.
• Support in-store events and marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed about industry trends, products, and services, understanding their ingredients and benefits.
• Maintain consistent attendance.

People

• Develop guest relationships through consultations and recommendations.
• Serve all guests efficiently, including walk-ins.
• Collaborate with skin therapists and retail team for a comprehensive guest experience.
• Build professional relationships with peers and brand partners.
• Promote the loyalty program, including credit and app benefits.
• Attend trainings and meetings for professional growth.

Process

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
• Follow service protocols for a consistent guest experience.
• Use booking and client systems to schedule services and events.
• Communicate supply needs to the Experience Manager.
• Maintain store cleanliness and adhere to dress code.
• Follow loss prevention practices and execute operational tasks as directed.
