General Summary & Scope

The Master Stylist engages with guests, consulting on their hair care needs and recommending products and services. They deliver quality services focusing on the guest’s total look and support the team through performance, guest service, and process adherence. Passion for the beauty industry, exceptional service, and product knowledge are essential.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Performance

• Perform various hair and makeup services, including haircuts, coloring, styling, treatments, and ear piercing.
• Meet or exceed sales and productivity goals, contributing to store sales, guest loyalty, and retail shrink reduction.
• Conduct product demonstrations and support in-store events and marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed about industry trends and product benefits to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt attendance.

People

• Develop guest relationships through consultations and recommendations.
• Serve all guests efficiently, including walk-ins.
• Collaborate with skin therapists and retail team for a comprehensive guest experience.
• Build professional relationships with peers and brand partners.
• Promote the guest loyalty program and app.
• Attend training and meetings for professional growth.

Process

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
• Follow established service protocols for consistent guest experiences.
• Use booking and clientele systems effectively.
• Communicate supply needs and maintain store cleanliness and standards.
• Adhere to dress code and protect company assets.
• Perform other operational tasks as assigned.
