Position Summary

The Stylist provides various hair services and treatments that improve the guests' overall sense of well-being and enhance the club experience. Services include haircuts, perms, coloring, highlighting, and foiling that result in sales of services and products exceeding guests' expectations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides individualized hair services and treatments that meet client needs and expectations.
• Educates clients on LifeSpa and Salon products, services, and treatments to help them maintain their style.
• Serves as an expert in hair analysis and maintenance regimens, staying current with styles and techniques.
• Promotes all LifeSpa and Salon products, services, and treatments.
• Remains current on certifications and industry trends.
• Maintains work stations to salon standards.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completed Cosmetology school.
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a stylist.
• Cosmetology license in the state where work is performed.
• Ability to perform various hair services and treatments.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, and commissions.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience as a stylist in a professional setting.
• Knowledge of Salon Biz software.

Pay

This position offers commissions between 35% and 70%, depending on product sales and productivity. The weekly minimum pay will be the applicable minimum wage per hour.
