General Summary & Scope

The Master Stylist engages with guests, consulting on hair care needs and recommending products and services. They deliver quality services focusing on the guest’s total look, supporting the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager through performance, people, and process.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Performance

• Perform various hair services and makeup applications, including haircuts, color, styling, treatments, extensions, and ear piercing where applicable.
• Meet or exceed sales and productivity goals, contributing to store targets related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, and shrink reduction.
• Support in-store events and promotions, staying informed about industry trends and product benefits.
• Maintain regular attendance.

People

• Develop guest relationships through consultations and recommendations.
• Serve all guests efficiently, including walk-ins.
• Collaborate with skin therapists and retail teams for a comprehensive guest experience.
• Build professional relationships to deliver exceptional service.
• Promote the guest loyalty program and attend professional development trainings.

Process

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
• Follow service protocols and utilize booking systems.
• Communicate supply needs and maintain store cleanliness and standards.
• Adhere to dress code and protect company assets.
• Perform additional operational tasks as assigned.

The pay range is $16.50 - $22.90/hour, depending on various factors. Benefits include paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance for full-time employees, and select benefits for part-time employees.
