Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a skilled Slip Cover Sewer for our Claremont, NC facility to produce high-end slipcovers for upholstered furniture, read production tickets, and follow sewing manuals to ensure quality.

You will use the Eton system to pull work, sew the next flat sew kit, and place completed bundles on the hanger. Strong experience in upholstery sewing and attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in production of upper-end upholstery fabric sewing in an upholstered furniture manufacturing environment.
• Must have the ability to sew slipcovers.
• Experience reading and understanding production tickets.
• Ability to interpret simple sewing instructions commonly placed in a sewing manual.

Responsibilities

• Put together fabric pieces and parts to complete slipcovers.
• Produce top notch quality.
• Read and understand sewing instructions.
• As work is needed, the sewer grabs work from the Eton system.
• The sewer will sew the next flat sew kit.
• After sewing, place the bundle in its proper place on Eton hanger.
