Job summary

Vern Eide Motorcars is seeking a Honda Master Technician to join our Sioux Falls team. This full-time role focuses on diagnosing and repairing Honda vehicles, performing complex electrical and drivability work, and maintaining high-quality service standards for our customers.

You will use Honda diagnostic tools, stay current with Honda tech updates, and contribute to a collaborative, safe workshop environment with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Honda Master Technician certification or equivalent Honda/Acura experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with electrical and computer-controlled vehicle systems.
• Ability to read and interpret repair information and wiring diagrams.
• Commitment to quality and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Honda vehicles using manufacturer procedures.
• Perform advanced electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, HVAC repairs.
• Accurately diagnose difficult or intermittent concerns.
• Use Honda diagnostic equipment and scan tools to identify issues.
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Perform inspections and recommend necessary repairs.
• Document work clearly and accurately.
• Stay current on Honda technology and service procedures.
• Assist and share knowledge with other technicians.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.

Requirements:

• Ability to accurately read and interpret repair information and wiring diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently while also being a team resource.
• Professional attitude and a commitment to excellent customer service.
• A valid driver's license and a safe driving record are required.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old
