The Master Scheduler develops, maintains, and optimizes the production schedule to ensure on‑time delivery, efficient resource utilization, and alignment with customer demand, coordinating closely with Operations, Production, Supply Chain, Sales, and Procurement to balance capacity, materials, labor, and priorities across multiple facilities. In addition, he/she serves as a subject‑matter expert and ERP Super User, supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the company’s ERP system by ensuring data accuracy, troubleshooting issues, assisting end users, and translating business processes into effective system workflows. This combined role acts as the central point of planning accuracy, driving schedule stability, visibility, and execution while partnering with IT, HR, Finance, Operations, and external vendors to ensure the ERP operates correctly and efficiently.
Mapping our Supply Chain Process – Work closely with each head of department and team members to identify roles and responsibilities. He/She will be responsible for mapping the process in each Department; Operations, Production, Supply Chain, Sales, and Procurement, etc. He/She will be creating and implementing transactional training programs and materials.
Bachelor’s degree is preferred in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM, CSCP) are highly valued and often preferred in manufacturing scheduling roles.
Additional coursework or certification in ERP systems, data analytics, or lean manufacturing is beneficial.
5+ years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
Hands‑on ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Business Central) with demonstrated ability to serve as a departmental Super User.
Experience working with BOMs, routings, work centers, capacity planning, and MRP.
Proven ability to troubleshoot ERP issues, support end users, and maintain data accuracy.
Strong background in cross‑functional coordination with Operations, Production, Supply Chain, Sales, Procurement, IT, and Finance.
Demonstrated success in high‑volume, multi‑facility scheduling or environments with complex product mixes.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, and data analysis.
Manufacturing experience in steel, fabrication, or discrete production environments.
Participation in ERP implementations, upgrades, or UAT testing.
Experience leading or supporting S&OP processes.
Exposure to continuous improvement, lean principles, or workflow optimization.
30 – 90 first days onsite is a must.
After 90 days - Remote role offering flexible work locations within the U.S. in the CST zone
