Job description

Nova Biomedical is hiring a Master Scheduler/Planner (Jr – level II) to develop, manage, and maintain production schedules and inventory levels for all Finished Good and Sub-assembly products under your control to ensure that both customer and internal requirements are met. As the Master Scheduler/Planner, you will work cross-functionally within Operations and other key functions such as Order Service, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Technical Services.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Analyze forecasts and monitor demand history to determine production requirements and capabilities using long-range capacity models and identify bottlenecks in manufacturing finished goods.
  2. Plan, schedule, and release weekly workload for each department according to manufacturing routing and lead times.
  3. Communicate production requirements to departments.
  4. Lead weekly production scheduling meetings with cross-functional teams.
  5. Collaborate with team members and managers to resolve constraints or delays.
  6. Revise schedules due to sales order changes, material shortages, or capacity constraints.
  7. Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement projects.
  8. Communicate product availability updates to Sales and stakeholders.
  9. Lead supply chain activities for new product development.
Qualifications:
  • H.S. diploma required; Bachelor of Science in Business Administration preferred.
  • Experience in Master Scheduling/Production Planning in a manufacturing environment (0-2 years for junior, 2-5 for Level I, 3-5 for Level II).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, ERP systems (SAP a plus), MRP, inventory planning, and demand forecasting.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all management levels.
  • Familiarity with Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
  • Initiative and ownership of issues and challenges.
