Job summary

Plexus Corp is seeking a Master Production Scheduler to coordinate production plans and align schedules with customer demand across our operations in Idaho. The role emphasizes balancing demand with manufacturing capability and minimizing disruptions to delivery timelines.

  • Coordinate customer expectations with organizational objectives by developing schedules that align with stakeholder requirements and feasibility.
  • Analyze Customer demand to enable inventory management, production scheduling, customer satisfaction and procurement decisions.
  • Create and maintain Master Production Schedules (MPS) and generate Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
  • Identify and escalate areas affecting Customer Service Excellence in product delivery.
  • Resolve challenges using standard policies and procedures with general guidance.

The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:

$67,000.00 - $100,600.00
Purpose Statement:

In this role, the focus is on coordinating customer expectations with organizational objectives by developing schedules that align with both stakeholder requirements and feasibility, ensuring a balance that enhances customer satisfaction while meeting organizational goals.

Key Job Accountabilities:
  • In collaborations with Program Management; analyze Customer demand to enable effective inventory management, production scheduling, customer satisfaction and procurement decisions.
  • Create and analyze what-if scenarios to simulate the impact to Plexus based on various demand changes and unified plan.
  • Create and maintain Master Production Schedules (MPS) and generate Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and proactively mitigate potential disruptions to production efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Highlight and escal**ate** any area of the business which may impact Customer Service Excellence with regard to product delivery.
  • Able to resolve challenges through standard policies and procedures with general guidance.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 2 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
Other Qualifications:
  • Employee must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Employee must possess good written and oral communication, organizational and troubleshooting skills.
  • The ability to take a proactive approach, and take ownership for all activities related to the success of the Focus Factory in order to ensure successful operations.
  • Employee must work safely at all times and maintain confidentiality of all company and customer information.
  • Must have computer experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and the ability to learn Plexus Data Collection and MRP/ERP systems. General office equipment and materials.
