Key Responsibilities:

Develops, manages, and maintains the master production schedule to support operational efficiency, customer delivery requirements, and inventory objectives. Coordinates closely with production, materials, supply chain, procurement, and customer service teams to balance demand, capacity, and material availability. Ensures schedules align with business priorities while identifying risks, constraints, and opportunities to improve production flow and schedule performance. May provide guidance and leadership to planners or scheduling personnel.

Key Deliverables of the Position
  • 1) Develop and maintain the master production schedule based on customer demand, inventory targets, and production capacity
  • 2) Coordinate with production, materials, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure schedule alignment and material readiness while supporting outsource processes.
  • 3) Monitor production schedules and identify risks, bottlenecks, or constraints such as material shortages, outside processing, inspection capacity, special processes, and technician availability, and elevate issues before they affect delivery.
  • 4) AOG/Expedite Support: Coordinate expedited repairs and AOG requirements by identifying the critical path and ensuring necessary resources are aligned to meet required delivery dates.
  • 5) Communicate schedule changes, production priorities, and deadlines to production lead & customer service team members.
  • 6) Analyze production performance metrics and recommend schedule adjustments or process improvements
  • 7) Support capacity planning and long-range production forecasting activities
  • 8) Maintain accurate planning data within ERP/MRP systems
  • 9) Ensure production schedules support customer commitments and operational objectives
  • 10) Provide guidance, leadership, and coaching to planners or scheduling staff as needed
Requirements
Education and Experience
  • Operations, Business, or related discipline required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of production scheduling and planning processes
  • Experience working within MRO Repair station or operational environments preferred
