Job summary

Flex is hiring a Master Scheduler in Orangeburg, SC to join our manufacturing team. The role reports to Willian Jeronymo and focuses on creating daily production schedules to ensure on-time deliveries with zero downtime.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and at least 7 years of relevant experience, with strong ERP/CTB knowledge and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills to drive capacity planning and production flow.

Responsibilities

• Create daily production schedules.
• Supervise that deadlines are met.
• Ensure efficiency in scheduling with CTB utilization.
• Liaise between Material Account Manager and Program Teams on demand management.
• Work closely with production personnel on accountabilities and productivity issues.
• Plan efficient transactions of processes with production personnel to avoid downtime.
• Ensure smooth material flow from raw materials to final goods.
• Develop strategies and liaise with operations on capacity and equipment utilization.
• Report key metrics and provide ERP/business system support as needed.
• Provide training to staff on scheduling processes.

The “Master Scheduler” will be based in Orangeburg, SC reporting to Willian Jeronymo.

What a typical day looks like:

In this role, you will be responsible for working with the materials and planning teams in order to ensure on-time and efficient deliveries of final product, with zero downtime.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Create daily production schedules.
• Supervise that deadlines are met.
• Ensure efficiency in scheduling with CTB (Clear to Build) utilization.
• Liaise between the Material Account Manager and Program Teams on demand management.
• Work closely with production personnel on accountabilities and productivity issues.
• Plan efficient transaction of process with production personnel to ensure zero downtime.
• Ensure smooth transaction of manufacturing process to raw materials.
• Develop strategies and liaise with operational teams on capacity & equipment utilization.
• Work closely with operations to ensure smooth flow from raw material to final goods stage.
• Use knowledge and experience of process flow to provide a useful resource to Materials on ERP and business system issues.
• Provide training to staff members as required.
• Report key metrics as required.

Qualifications:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree, preference in Engineering or equivalent.
• Typically require a minimum of 7 years of related experience.
