Job summary

New Day Recovery in Louisiana is seeking a Full Time Master's Level Recovery Clinician to join a mission-driven team dedicated to helping people overcome addiction. You will conduct screening, intake, assessment, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, case management, crisis intervention, and provide education and referrals in collaboration with other professionals.

You will develop treatment plans, monitor progress, and participate in ongoing reviews, while adhering to HIPAA

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health, Social Work, or similar masters level degree.
• Licensure: LPC, MSW, LAC, or RACL.
• 2–4 years direct experience in mental health and substance use disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with health and criminal justice professionals using tact and diplomacy.
• Communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Document individual and group progress notes within 24 hours of service.
• Develop and review treatment plans within regulatory timeframes.
• Conduct ongoing treatment plan reviews with clients weekly.
• Document discharge notes within 24 hours of discharge.
