Job summary

Centerstone in Florida is seeking a compassionate Therapist to join our behavioral health team. This role provides individual, family, and group counseling in diverse settings including homes, schools, hospitals, and community spaces.

The position supports licensure progression with free clinical supervision hours, offers flexible hours, a collaborative culture, and clear pathways for professional development. A Master’s degree and FL driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mental health field required.
• Experience with mental health and/or co-occurring issues; 1 year preferred.
• Florida driver’s license required.
• Ability to conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention services in the community.
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and update treatment plans with input from client and family.
• Conduct clinical behavioral health assessments.
• Enter written documentation into EMR in a timely manner for all services.
• Provide individual, family and group counseling to develop daily living and coping skills.
• Assist clients with developing natural support systems and link to additional services as needed.
• Complete required trainings to maintain 100% compliance and meet productivity expectations.

Refer, advocate, and link clients and families to additional services as needed.Complete all required agency trainings to maintain 100% compliance. Maintains departmental productivity expectations. Additional training and/or certification may be required based on specific program guidelines.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESEffectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.Ability to develop supportive relationships with persons with legal, mental health, substance use, and co-occurring issues while maintaining appropriate therapeutic boundaries.Possess knowledge of mental illness and recovery including the ability to collaborate with community partners.Understanding of populations affected by mental illness, proven skills in networking among diverse agencies, and strong planning and personnel management abilities.QUALIFICATIONSEducation LevelMaster's Degree required.Years of ExperienceMust have experience with mental health and/or co-occurring issues.
