Job summary

Modern Recovery Services seeks a Primary Therapist to support individuals through recovery from substance use and co-occurring disorders, acting as a mentor and motivator within a treatment plan. The role involves individual sessions and collaboration with the Clinical Director and Group Facilitator to meet client needs.

Work includes providing teletherapy when appropriate, transitioning clients to community-based services, and helping prevent relapse through motivational guidance and advocacy.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology (accredited).
• Must be 21 years of age (licensing requirement).
• Must be able to provide Level 1 fingerprint clearance card.

Responsibilities

• Provide recovery education to clients for every phase of the recovery journey from pre-recovery engagement, recovery initiation, recovery stabilization, and sustained recovery maintenance.
