(CHR) Community Health Resources, Inc. is seeking a Master's Level Intern for its Community Support Program in Manchester, CT. This role offers the chance to gain experience in clinical mental health and substance abuse evaluation, treatment, and outreach services.

The internship provides a unique opportunity to assist individuals with serious mental illness and help them achieve their recovery goals by fostering independent living skills and linking them with community resources. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in mental health.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Master’s degree program in a mental health field.
• Demonstrated experience in mental health treatment preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Provide advocacy services for clients to receive appropriate clinical services.
• Link clients with appropriate treatment sources.
