Job summary

Acenda, Inc. is seeking a Master's Intern to support Intensive Outpatient Treatment Services in Gloucester County, New Jersey. This hybrid internship offers weekly supervision, professional development, and a stipend per semester.

Responsibilities include delivering psych education, co-facilitating group therapy, and documenting client interactions, while you shadow supervisors and build clinical skills in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Master program (MSW, MFT, Clinical Psychology) or related human services field.
• Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
• Knowledge of evidence-based clinical practices and assessment methods.
• Demonstrated cultural competence and adaptability with diverse populations.
• Familiarity with screening, documentation, and client progress notes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and enhance psych education materials for clients on mental health topics.
• Co-facilitate group therapy sessions and document client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and enhancing psych education material to clients on various mental health topics
• Co facilitating group therapy
• Documenting client interactions and group therapy
• Shadowing supervisors individual therapy sessions and discussing the development of their clinical skills.
• Engaging in weekly supervision
• Adhere to the ethical standards of the educational institution as well as Acenda code of conduct.

Completing Supervision Requirements

• Must be enrolled in Master program for MSW, MFT, Clinical Psychology, or a related field in the human services field.

• Knowledge of evidence-based clinical practices and therapeutic approaches.

Additional Information

• $500 stipend per semester that the internship is completed
