Job summary

BAMSI Whitman Counseling Center in Whitman, MA seeks a Master’s Clinician for a Fee-for-Service role. The position features a flexible hybrid schedule and an hourly range of $33–$38, non-exempt status, and outpatient behavioral health services for diverse populations.

Responsibilities include diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, individual therapy (in-person and telehealth), collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and maintaining compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Must be eligible for independent licensure within two years.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic assessments and clinical evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy in-person and via telehealth.
• Maintain a minimum of eight client contact hours per week.
• Deliver evidence-based, client-centered interventions.
• Collaborate with psychiatric providers, clinicians, and community partners.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and case consultation.
• Coordinate referrals and additional services when clinically appropriate.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with BAMSI, DPH, DMH, CARF and other regulatory standards.

What You’ll Do:

Provide high-quality outpatient behavioral health services to individuals seeking support for mental health, emotional, and life challenges.

Clinical Services

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and clinical evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs and goals
• Provide individual therapy services in-person and via telehealth
• Maintain a minimum of eight (8) client contact hours per week
• Deliver evidence-based, client-centered interventions
• Support individuals ages 5 and older in achieving treatment goals and improving overall well-being
• Collaborate with psychiatric providers, clinicians, and community partners to ensure comprehensive care
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and case consultation
• Coordinate referrals and additional services when clinically appropriate

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough clinical documentation
• Ensure compliance with BAMSI, DPH, DMH, CARF, and other regulatory standards
• Uphold ethical and professional standards of clinical practice

What You Bring:

Education & Licensure

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related clinical field required
• Must be eligible for independent licensure within two (2) years
