Job summary

Center for Human Development (CHD) seeks a Master’s Level Clinician (Licensed or License-Eligible) to join our outpatient teams in Western Massachusetts. You will work across Springfield, West Springfield, and East Longmeadow, providing intake assessments and therapy to diverse populations.

We emphasize trauma‑informed, person-centered care and harm reduction, with a focus on collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and thorough documentation in an EHR.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Family Therapy.
• Licensed (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or Psychologist) or License-Eligible (LCSW, etc.).
• Bilingual English/Spanish are highly encouraged; pay differential for these skills.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to pass CORI background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial intake assessments and individual, group, family, or couple therapy.
• Create comprehensive treatment and safety plans.
• Support individuals at intersections of poverty, justice involvement, and substance use recovery.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and recovery coaches.
• Maintain high-quality clinical records using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
