Job summary

Trident Seafoods seeks a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to operate, repair and maintain a range of machinery including engines, pneumics, conveyors and hydraulics at our Alaska site. Main duties include preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, repairing rolling stock equipment, and following safety protocols.

This role may supervise a small shift and requires a minimum six years of mechanic experience and HS Diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Six years minimum experience as a mechanic with rolling stock repair and diesel engine maintenance.
• HS Diploma or equivalent; technical trades acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains machinery and equipment by performing preventive maintenance per schedule.
• Locates problems by observing devices, listening for issues, and using testing tools.
• Repairs rolling stock equipment and other machinery as needed.
• Follows safety procedures and Trident protocols; may supervise a small shift.
• Initiates purchase orders for parts and equipment as required.
