Job summary

Modern Recovery Services is seeking a Master Level Psychologist to provide individualized therapy remotely via telehealth. The role focuses on supporting clients with mental health and substance use challenges, guiding recovery, and coordinating care with the Clinical Director and Group Facilitator.

Responsibilities include delivering teletherapy, offering recovery education, and facilitating client plans while connecting them with community resources to sustain long-term recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master’s degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university.
• Demonstrated understanding of the recovery process and the drug/alcohol treatment system.
• Comfortable working with both adolescent and adult populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy via video conferencing/teletherapy.
• Serve as role model, mentor, advocate, and motivator in recovery.
• Collaborate with Clinical Director and Group Facilitator to align with treatment plans.
• Offer recovery education to clients across phases of recovery.
• Identify goals, strengths, and barriers to support client progress.
• Establish linkages to community resources and supports.
• Promote self-advocacy and client voice in care planning.
• Support smooth transition from clinical services to community-based resources.
• Develop relationships with community groups and partners to enhance services.
