Safran Electrical & Power in the United States is seeking a Master Scheduler Planner to establish and maintain the production build plan for critical items, coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to meet demand in a dynamic aerospace environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in business or a technical field, with 2 years of experience in production scheduling, strong data presentation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, industrial engineering, or related technical discipline and 2 years of experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with preparing & presenting complex data to senior management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Knowledge of Production Scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes critical item definition and forecasts demand.
  • Performs capacity analysis to support the production plan.
  • Proposes modifications to plans and reports status.
  • Coordinates with capacity and material analysis to resolve discrepancies.
  • Translates demand into production and purchase orders for internal and external suppliers.
  • Maintains item ordering characteristics.

This position contributes to our vision by:
  • Establishes critical item definition and forecasts demand;
  • Performs capacity analysis in order to determine the availability of resources necessary to support the production plan;
  • Makes proposals for modifications to plans regarding projected build requirements and demand forecasts, and reports on status;
  • Assists in the selection of the best master production schedule (MPS) item parameter to support business strategy and manufacturing objective;
  • Gathers and reviews data from manufacturing and support organizations;
  • Coordinates with capacity and material analysis to resolve material and capacity discrepancies that affect the schedule;
  • Translates anticipated demand into production and purchase orders for internal and external suppliers;
  • Maintains item ordering characteristics;
  • Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture;
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required;
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Education and/or Experience
  • Prefer a bachelor's degree in business, industrial engineering, or a related technical discipline and 2 years of experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Expert
  • Expereince with preparing & presenting complex data to senior management - Expert
  • Proficiency with Micrsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word) - Expert
  • Knowledge of Production Scheduling - Advanced
