Job summary

Advanced Industries LLC is seeking a Production Scheduler in the United States to develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to support customer demand, inventory targets, and production capabilities. This role owns the ERP scheduling process and coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and efficient manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of master production planning/scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
• ERP experience with master scheduling (Global Shop, SAP, Epicor) and data integrity.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, MPS, production workflows, and capacity/resource planning.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Lean 6S knowledge and ISO/AS9100 familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) in Global Shop ERP.
• Translate forecasts into actionable manufacturing plans considering lead times and capacity.
• Monitor work-in-process (WIP) and adjust production schedules daily/weekly.
• Analyze material and capacity requirements to prevent bottlenecks.
• Review BOMs, routings, lead times, and calendars in ERP.
• Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure material availability.
• Participate in weekly planning meetings to communicate plans and resolve conflicts.
• Generate KPIs such as schedule adherence and capacity utilization.
• Troubleshoot ERP scheduling issues and liaise between IT and production.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on scheduling processes.
• Collaborate with current production scheduler to optimize ERP usage.
