Job summary

3M is seeking a Master Production Planner to design and implement supply chain solutions across production planning, inventory management, and material/information flow at on-site locations in Maplewood, MN and Menomonie, WI. The role emphasizes leading capacity planning for division assets and supporting S&OP and Master Schedule reviews.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least three years in supply chain/logistics, with additional experience in manufacturing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Three (3) years of combined supply chain and/or logistics experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Three (3) years of Manufacturing Plant Experience (preferred)
  • Two (2) years of combined experience with Production Planning and/or Lean Production Systems (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain or related field from an accredited university (preferred)
  • APICS CPIM and/or CSCP certification (preferred)
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigman – Green or Black Belt Certification (preferred)
  • Experience with Inventory Parameter Management (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Designing supply chains solutions in the areas of production planning, inventory management, and material/information flow

Your Skills And Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Three (3) years of combined supply chain and/or logistics experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Three (3) years of Manufacturing Plant Experience

Work location:

This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN or at the 3M Center in Menomonie, WI.

Travel:

May include up to 15% domestic/international

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $124,127 - $151,710, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
