Job summary

3M seeks a Master Production Planner to design supply chain solutions and lead capacity planning at the Maplewood, MN site. This on-site role supports S&OP and master scheduling across key assets, with travel up to 15% and potential relocation assistance.

You will collaborate with global teams, manage production planning processes, and contribute to Lean initiatives while aligning with U.S. export control and DoD contract considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
• Three (3) years of combined supply chain and/or logistics experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
• Three (3) years of Manufacturing Plant Experience.
• Two (2) years of combined experience with Production Planning and/or Lean Production Systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain or related field from an accredited university.
• APICS CPIM and/or CSCP certification.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigman – Green or Black Belt Certification.
• Experience with Inventory Parameter Management.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

Work location

This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN or at the 3M Center in Menomonie, WI.

Travel

May include up to 15% domestic/international.
